Roasted Garlic And Chili Aioli Sauce Recipe

Roasted Garlic And Chili Aioli Sauce Recipe

Definitely has a bit of heat! To see more of my Costco food reviews follow me on Instagram or Facebook and also check out my blog Costcuisine where I review tons of Costco food products each week! Last week I posted a review for the Costco WestEnd Cuisine Mediterranean Chicken Skewers, Costco Crepini Egg Thins Egg Crepes and Costco Kirkland Signature Chocolate Covered Almonds.

So I’ve always been slightly curious about the Costco Culinary Treasures Roasted Garlic & Chili Aioli. I’m a huge sweet potato fry fan and I love the dipping sauce you get at restaurants. At home sweet potato fries just aren’t the same with ketchup so I was excited to try this out!

Garlic

The aioli comes in a two-pack and each bottle is 750 ml. I paid $7.99 Canadian for the two-pack. Not overly expensive at all for such a large quantity of aioli that I’ll probably never use up!

So when I bought this initially I was pretty close minded and thought it would only work for sweet potato fries. However after trying it I’ve decided there’s quite a few ways you could use this aioli. On sandwiches, burgers, for dipping fries or chicken wings or even as a veggie dip! I bet there’s a ton more ways you can use it that I’m not even thinking about. The best before date is about six months from the date I purchased the aioli. Once opening you need to refrigerate the aioli.

One tablespoon is 100 calories, 11 grams of fat, 85 mg of sodium, 0 grams of fibre, sugar and protein and one gram of carbohydrates. The ingredients list is pretty much what I would expect to see  until I got to the end of the ingredients list. I’m not quite sure what calcium disodium edta is?

Honest review. My husband and I are divided on the taste. I was NOT expecting it to be so spicy/hot! For some reason I decided to forget about the “chili” part and found the heat a little too much and overpowering. My husband on the other hand loves the heat and thinks this aioli is delicious. I wish it was slightly less spicy so the garlic flavor came through a bit more but it does taste pretty much like a spicy garlic sauce. I must admit I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice but if you’re like me you also might find this a little much. If you’re a heat fan and appreciate garlic I bet you’ll really enjoy this aioli.

Paprika Parmesan Smashed Potatoes With Garlic Aioli

I have enough Culinary Treasures Roasted Garlic & Chili Aioli from Costco to last me quite a while so I probably won’t be repurchasing it anytime soon! My husband really enjoyed it with the McCain Sweet Potato Fries from Costco but I found it a little bit too spicy.Hello, garlic lovers, this Roasted Garlic Aioli is for you! Creamy, garlicky and packed with umami flavor. Serve it on burgers, veggies or as a dip for McCain® fries!

I’m excited because Tim will be doing most of the cooking on the grill! Think burgers, steaks, hot dogs and grilled corn. ♡♡♡ Oh, I can’t wait!

Not that that means I won’t have to do anything, as a trip to the kitchen will be needed so I can make my always requested Roasted Garlic Aioli.

Homemade Chili Aioli

It’s an easy and versatile sauce! Delicious, spreadable, dippable and very, VERY addicting. I feel almost guilty to share this recipe with you. Because once you try it, there is not going back, and you will want it over and over again!

For some, it is a Mediterranean sauce made of lots of garlic, salt and olive oil. To others, it means a homemade garlic mayo: an emulsion of olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and egg yolks.

And then there are the ones – hello, there! – who think store-bought mayo mixed with “something else” can be called aioli.

Traditional? Not at all. But oh SO GOOD! (Plus, there’s the fact that we are not dealing with raw eggs, which I know scares some of you.)

But, to be honest, 9 times out of 10 I serve it as a dipping sauce for fries! You just can’t beat freshly made French fries paired with a good aioli sauce.

Culinary

I’ve been a longtime fan of McCain fries, especially their Seasoned Curly Fries. However, they’ve recently invited me to try their new Dip’n Wedges (which I easily found at Walmart) and I’ve been completely obsessed.

Easy Oven Roasted Potatoes With Sriracha Pumpkin Aioli

Like all their other products, these are made of real potatoes, without any artificial flavors or colors. But they are v-shaped, making them perfect to scoop your favorite dip or to pile up with toppings!

I’m not ashamed to say I have quite a few bags in my freezer right now. If we don’t devour them all today, I am thinking loaded fries next. Just imagine these beauties topped with cheese, bacon and ranch sauce!

Roasting garlic is easy, but it does take time! At least 40 minutes if not more. But trust me it is so worth it!

Aioli Roster Garlic And Chili Dipping Sauce

I’ve seen several methods of “roasting” garlic on the internet, including in the microwave. However, I find that the best way to get the garlic to become super creamy, almost like butter, is to roast it in the oven.

If you love roasted garlic like I do, I’d roast a bunch of heads at once. That way you will always have it on hand! They keep well in the fridge for a couple weeks or in the freezer for up to 2 months!

Roasted

Once you’ve roasted the garlic, all you gotta do is mash it into a paste and combine all the ingredients until smooth! No special equipment needed!

You can refrigerate it so it can set and thicken slightly, but I usually don’t, since I can’t help but dig in immediately.

Yes! You can make it up to 3 days ahead, as it keeps well stored in an airtight container in the fridge!

While safe to eat, mayo that has been frozen and thawed loses its original texture. The ingredients will separate, and you’ll be left with a thinner, watery mess! Please note that this review was not paid for or sponsored by any third party. Simple Roasted Garlic And Dill Aioli Sauce

I’m slightly obsessed with sweet potato fries and I love the creamy dip you get with sweet potato fries when you order them from a restaurant. I’ve seen this Costco Culinary Treasures Roasted Garlic & Chili Aioli for a while now at Costco and decided to pick it up to review.

I wasn’t expecting this to be so hot! I kind of ignored the chili part of the title and wasn’t expecting this to be as spicy as it is. My husband really loves the spice and thinks this is delicious. Although spicy this is definitely flavorful. You can taste strong garlic flavor as well as lots of spicy chili. The two flavors complement each other well and a little goes a long way flavor wise. I’m a bit of wuss when it comes to spice so if you like hot food and garlic you’ll probably really enjoy this aioli!

Simple

I paid $7.99 Canadian for the two-pack of aioli (each bottle is 750 ml. Not bad for such a large amount of aioli!

Easy To Make Sriracha Aioli

There’s so many ways you can use this, on sandwiches, burgers, with chicken strips or fries (specifically sweet potato fries). You could have it with wings or even use it as a veggie dip. The best before date on my bottle is about six months from the date I purchased the aioli. Also once opening you need to refrigerate the aioli.

One tablespoon is 100 calories, 11 grams of fat, 85 mg of sodium, 0 grams of fibre, sugar and protein and one gram of carbohydrates. There’s a few suspicious ingredients on the ingredients list that I’m not sure about! Such as disodium edta?

I won’t be purchasing this anytime soon because I have so much to use up! My husband really enjoyed it and I liked it too, I just found it a little too spicy.
