Psyllium Husks Recipes
A lot of the psyllium husk recipes online are lacking a bit of creativity. I like most of the creations that try to recreate foods you'd eat when you're not on a low-carb diet. I went out and searched the internet for the best psyllium husk recipes and the list below is what I came up with. Some of the recipes are ones that I created too.
Gluten-free baking can be a hassle, but baking gluten-free dishes that are also low-carb can prove to be even more of a challenge! If the batter gets too sticky or too watery, the dough will just not stick together, or the dough will just not rise at all!

Luckily for us, psyllium husk powder is like a miracle ingredient in the low-carb world! I like to call it the miracle glue because it honestly acts like glue! That's why I created these 18 psyllium husk powder recipes.

If you've ever baked with gluten, you'll notice that it kind of acts the same way and helps all of the ingredients stick together and bake evenly. The liquid and dry ingredients ratios can be a little tricky to play with, which is why I decided to compile this list from different low-carb bloggers who've used psyllium husk before! If it's your first time baking with it, definitely try one of these yummy recipes! I recommend using the NOW brand of Psyllium Husk Powder as some other brands tend to turn your baked goods purple! Although they don't taste any different, it's still a bit weird eating purple bread!
Psyllium Husk is great for baking. It's a binding agent that helps with texture and works to thicken food that's baked. It's perfect for making bread, pizzas, and sweet treats. You only need a really small amount of Psyllium Husk powder to get the desired effects.

It sounds daunting, right? Well, I’m here to tell you that making these psyllium husk and seed crackers is so much simpler than you would imagine. No longer will you have to pay upwards of $10 for some healthy or low-carb crackers at the health food store!
The Best Keto Bread Recipe
These seedy crackers poof-up a bit while baking, making them taste somewhere between Mary’s seed crackers, Triscuits, and… a really good multigrain bread? I think you will enjoy them and should try them out!
Here is the recipe for simple, versatile, seed and psyllium husk crackers! You just add all of the ingredients together in a bowl and let them gel up a bit (this is what binds the crackers). Then you spread the mixture as thin as possible on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake! Super simple and delicious.

Note that these crackers are VERY high in fiber from all of the seeds and psyllium husk. Fiber is amazing for our overall health. However, too much can sometimes cause GI issues. I would recommend eating a small amount of these at first and seeing how your body reacts to the fiber intake.

These crackers are so versatile, meaning that you can use whatever seeds or herbs that you have on hand! I used chia, flax, hemp, pumpkin, and sesame for the seeds. You can take or leave any of these (except maybe the flax, because it gels up and helps to hold the crackers together). You can use whatever combination you would like, or even add sunflower seeds or something else. Let your creativity shine with this recipe!
Check out some of my other recipes, like this Pickled Red Cabbage. These would pair perfectly on a charcuterie board! I love to eat them with hummus or my easy Dijon mayo dip. For this, just mix 1 cup vegan mayo and 1 tbsp grainy Dijon mustard together! Add a little bit of salt and lemon juice if you are feeling fancy.

Please let me know if you try them and what you think of them! And be sure to check out some of my other recipes here and my natural/sustainable product reviews here. Also be sure to follow along with me on Instagram!
