By simply adding a bit more flour and taking away 1 egg I was able to make the moistest and chewiest Nutella cookies.

These cookies really are as simple as 1, 2, 3. Just mix up the dough, roll into balls and bake. The best part, these cookies are done in under 10 minutes making them perfect for those sweet treat cravings we all have. I love these cookies on their own but you can add any kind of chocolate chips or nuts you like. I say this often: Nutella is my kryptonite. I’ve always been happy just to eat it right out of the jar but now I have a new favorite (and far less messy!) way to consume the good stuff.
Nutella bars. Ridiculously EASY Nutella bars, packed with chocolate chips, soft and chewy and oh-so-good. And as an extra point of sale: eating one of these bars makes you far less likely to end up with Nutella smeared all over your face. (Not that I know anything about that. . .)

The key to these Nutella bars is under-baking them slightly so they stay soft—eating one is almost like eating cookie dough with Nutella frosting.
Combine melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar in a mixing bowl and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then salt and flour.
Fold in some chocolate chips until they’re evenly distributed, then add 1/4 cup of Nutella. Use a rubber spatula to stir the Nutella into the cookie dough—STIR THE DOUGH just one time.
Nutella Mug Cake {3 Ingredients}
Scrape the cookie dough into a 9-inch square baking pan (sprayed first with cooking spray) and dollop another 1/4 cup of Nutella over the top of the cookie dough. Use a knife to swirl the dough and Nutella together.
Bake for about 22 minutes, until the edges of the bars are set. Don’t be tempted to leave your Nutella bars in the oven until they look completely done; you want the center of the bars to be a little jiggly when you pull them out.

Gluten Free Nutella Blondies Recipe
I know what you're thinking - Nutella isn't dairy free! You're right, it isn't. I use a dairy free and vegan chocolate hazelnut spread alternative to make them, not brand name Nutella.
STEP ONE:Cut parchment paper into the shape of a square pan, leaving some paper hanging over the edges. Put the parchment paper into the pan and fold the edges inward to form creases (see photo below). This is so that you can create a layer of Nutella that fits perfectly into the pan.
STEP TWO:Remove parchment from the pan and place it on the countertop. Spread the chocolate hazelnut spread around until it covers the square area in the shape of the pan. Transfer the parchment paper to a flat surface such as a cutting board, baking sheet, or cooling rack, then put it in the freezer while you make the blondie batter.

STEP THREE: Prepare an8x8 square pan by lining it with parchment paper and leaving some hanging over the edges to make it easier to remove the blondies later. Preheat oven to 350°F.
STEP FOUR: Place the butter in a medium sized bowl, then melt it in the microwave (you can also melt it over the stove then transfer to a mixing bowl). Whisk the sugars in and continue to whisk until the mixture resembles a paste. It should pull cleanly away from the side of the bowl as you whisk.

STEP SIX:Pour half of the blondie batter into the the prepared pan. Remove chocolate hazelnut spread from the freezer and carefully peel it off of the parchment paper. It should peel off fairly easily in one piece (if not, freeze for another 5 minutes or so). Place the layer of chocolate hazelnut spread over the blondie batter.
Puff Pastry With Nutella
STEP EIGHT:Bake blondies for 30-45 minutes. They're ready when a toothpick inserted in the middle of the pan has a few wet crumbs on it, but isn't covered in batter. The middle definitely shouldn't be jiggly, but if the toothpick is completely clean then they are over-baked!
Unfortunately the classic Nutella is not. As I mentioned before, I use this vegan chocolate hazelnut spread. It's so good, I can eat it with a spoon.
Yes! To do this, pour all the blondie batter into the pan then drop the chocolate hazelnut spread in spoonfuls on top and then gently swirl it around with a knife.
No Bake Nutella Eclair Cake
In my opinion, yes. A blondie that isn't gooey, to me, is more like a cookie bar. Blondies should have the consistency of a fudgy brownie, minus the chocolate and cocoa powder.
To tell when blondies are ready, stick a toothpick into the middle of them - it shouldn't be completely covered in batter. They're ready when the toothpick has just a few wet crumbs on it. The blondies will continue to set once they are removed from the oven, and the longer you leave them in the less gooey they'll be.

Nutella blondies should be stored at room temperature for 3-5 days in an airtight container, or you can leave them un-sliced in the pan, cover in plastic wrap ora reusable wrap. You can also refrigerate them to make them last a few days longer. They will firm up a bit in the fridge.

FREEZING THE CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD: It doesn't have to be completely frozen, just firm enough to peel off in one piece. If it doesn’t feel firm enough, freeze for 5 more minutes. Freezing time will vary depending whether you use regular Nutella, homemade, or vegan brands of chocolate hazelnut spread.
Nutella Mug Cake {5 Minute Dessert}
ALTERNATIVE METHOD: If using a homemade chocolate hazelnut spread, or if you want to make these as Nutella swirl blondies, drop the Nutella in spoonfuls on top of the blondie batter then swirl it around with a knife.
BAKING TIME: This will always vary depending on your oven. If you are using a glass baking dish for the recipe instead of aluminium non-stick, the blondies will take longer to bake.

Storage Instructions:Store at room temperature in an airtight container, or un-sliced in the pan. If leaving them in the pan, be sure to cover in plastic wrap ora reusable wrap. They will last around 3-5 days. To make them last a couple days longer, you can also refrigerate them in an airtight container. They will firm up a bit in the fridge.
