They are the best part of traveling and until recently were pretty difficult to find outside of the airport. Thankfully, they are readily available now so you don't have to wait until your next international vacation to try them.

Lotus Biscoff Milkshake

The only thing better than Biscoff cookies is biscoff cookies WITH milk. With this cookie butter milkshake, you can have them both together.

If you love making frozen desserts and snacks, you might also enjoy this cherry smoothie, lemonade popsicles, or a peach smoothie bowl.

Nothing beats AUTHENTIC Biscoff cookies, cookie butter, and decadent vanilla ice cream all blended up together but if you need to change things up, you can make the following substitutions.

Cookie Butter Milkshake –

At this point, you can add a bit more milk if you want a thinnger, sippable consistancy but I find the proportions above are pure perfection for a thick and creamy Lotus Milkshake!

This next step is optional but I find it makes a really beautiful presentation and things taste better when they are garnished to the max!

Melt the cookie butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then dip the rim of the glass into the melted cookie butter.

I like to let the glass hang out for a bit upside down until it stops dripping, then I dip it into the crushed cookies.

Fill each serving glass with the prepared milkshake and finish by topping with whipped cream, extra crushed Biscoff cookies and a drizzle of the leftover melted cookie butter.

If you don't want to make the full 2 servings, you can always cut the recipe in half and just make a single serving!

We love milkshakes in my house, yet, I always forget to make them as a quick dessert after dinner. When I do remember, my kids go crazy for them. Milkshakes are a great way to use up whatever leftover ice cream and pantry ingredients. That’s exactly what I did with this recipe for a Cookie Butter Milkshake.

Biscoff Cookie Butter Milkshake Cocktail Recipe

I first fell in love with Biscoff cookies on a business trip many years ago. My husband would tell you that he first fell in love with them in high school. He use to work at our International Airport as a skycap. You know, the people who greet you at the curb and expedite your check-in process. Or maybe you’ve seen them at the luggage carousel ready to help you sling your bags on to a cart and walk them to your car for you? My husband did that only for a year, and then 9-11 happened. Just about everyone at our International airport was laid off.

Before he was laid off he worked at the Delta terminal. That meant… endless amounts of Biscoff cookies. To this day, when we go on a plane ride we mostly only fly Delta to get the cookies. True story. Yes, we realize that we can get the cookies at the grocery store, but theirs something about them–consuming Biscoff cookies thousands of feet in the sky that makes them special.

Biscoff

So yes, we love Biscoff in our house. Otherwise known as cookie butter or Speculoos which is another brand of cookie butter that is found at Trader Joe’s! If you love this sweet butter you might also love my Biscoff Ice Cream or 2 Ingredient Biscoff Fondue.

By using ice cream and milk or even heavy cream it will keep your milkshake very thick. Try not to use ice as that tends to water down the milkshake.

Cookie butter and peanut butter are two totally different things. If you really don’t like cookie butter or can’t find it then you could use peanut butter. It will give a completely different taste. If you do substitute peanut butter you will want to use peanut butter cookies instead.

I would be honored and love for you to take the time to leave a star rating and comment! I spend hours developing and testing these recipes, and always love to hear feedback and user experience!

Lotus Biscoff Milkshake Recipe

So when I say this biscoff milkshake is like the best milkshake you’ve ever tasted in your life, I’m not kidding around. It truly is the most delicious milkshake ever!

It is double thick and creamy and smooth and all those good things a milkshake needs to be, but in addition to that you have LOADS of biscoff flavor and that is what takes this milkshake over the edge.

Served topped with whipped cream, melted biscoff cookie butter and crushed biscoff cookies this is the cookie butter milkshake of your dreams.

Cinnamon Toast Milkshake

And if you love biscoff desserts as much as we do, then you’ll also LOVE our biscoff blondies and our biscoff ice cream.

Full instructions and measurements can always be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. This is a summary of the process to go along with the process photos.

Order of ingredients. Add the milk to the blender jug first, then the ice cream, then the biscoff cookie butter and biscoff cookies. This makes everything blend easier and stops the cookie butter from sticking to the bottom of the blender and not blending in properly.

Variable speed. If you have a variable speed blender then start off at slow speed and gradually build up the speed. This actually makes it all come together faster. If you don’t have a variable speed blender then you may need to stop your blender and scrape down the sides once or twice (or give it a shake, you know your blender!) before it will all come together.

Cookie

Make it dairy-free. To make a dairy-free biscoff milkshake, just use a dairy-free milk such as soy milk or almond milk and a dairy free vanilla ice cream. Make sure
