Salmon

I love how easy it is to make this delicious mango teriyaki salmon! It comes together in no time! Here’s I put this dish together:

Baked Bbq Salmon With Mango Salsa Recipe

This mango teriyaki salmon recipe will work great with any type of salmon. My favorite type of salmon to use is wild Alaskan King salmon. Since this type of fish is only season for a short period of time, I typically use regular, wild-caught salmon. Atlantic salmon will also work for this recipe.

You’ll love the easy and delicious teriyaki sauce I use with the salmon! It’s made with soy sauce, maple syrup, water, sesame seed oil, rice vinegar, ginger and garlic. I just place all the ingredients into a measuring cup, give it a whisk and that’s it!

What really makes this dish so special is the mango avocado salsa! It pairs so well with the savory teriyaki salmon, creating a beautiful symphony of flavors! I recommend using extra ripe and sweet mangos for the recipe. You can also make this salsa with sweet peaches! Just dice the mangos, avocado, tomatoes, onion and combine with cilantro, lime juice, olive oil and salt. I recommend waiting to dress the salsa until you’re ready to serve. This way, it stays extra fresh!

For serving this mango teriyaki salmon, first let the fried salmon rest for a few minutes. Place the salmon onto a tray, then add a few spoonful’s of the teriyaki sauce over the top. Grab a spoon and add loads of mango salsa over the top next and enjoy! If you want to add some carbs to this recipe, try serving the salmon with a side of steamed white rice.

My husband and I have been enjoying this mango salmon recipe for many, many years and it never gets old! If you haven’t seen my first video recipe for this dish, check it out HERE! I worked with American Express to create this amazing dish for a campaign. It was so much fun!
